Hi Bernie,

What specifically is the issue?

You can see a copy of the Carter owner's manual here - http://steelguitar.com/manuals.html

There's also a little info on troubleshooting - http://steelguitar.com/troubleshoot.html

Where are you located? There might be someone local who can take a look.

Thanks for the site for the Carter Ops manual. I'll read some more, tinker some more & so on. I really appreciate the help as I'm sometime out of circulation with other players and just thought the SGForum might help I'm located NW of Madison Wi & don't know anyone who looks at/fixes, etc. Thanks again & I'll try to trblshoot some more and Imay get back to you if I don't succeed. Happy Easter Blessings too.

Couldn't hurt to see Jon Light's excellent post on all-pull tuning issues.

Bernie,
Have you recently changed strings?
You may have put a wound 6th string on instead of a plain (or vice versa)
