Jamkazam?

Post by Jim Cohen »

Anybody here tried JamKazam? Gonna see if my band can use it to rehearse long-distance. Tried it with the bassist about 35 miles away and there was no noticeable latency. Worked great so far. Gonna try adding 2 more players next...

Jim,

Sounds interesting. I recall having such an idea many years ago as the internet was taking off for the public use. Of course back then it was just a 'wouldn't this be cool' idea.

I take it that you must buy the JamBlaster for this?

Please keep us informed how adding the additional players turns out.

Actually they no longer make a Jamblaster and instead they recommend using a different unit from Behringer.

I guess I am now confused. They advertise it on their website and I see no mention of a Behringer product:

Their website is out of date on this point. We tried to buy one from them and found out.
