Suggestions for XLR, 1/4” and power hard mount

Post by Cody Russell »

I have a 2U rack unit that I’m goin to put my white box and black box in. I would like to have one external hard mount power supply that powers both and a pedal board. Also would like to have xlr and 1/4” out put hard mounted where I can use either. Trying to put all this in the side so it can sit verticals next to me. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have the exact same question and was thinking of taking it in to a shop but, of course, would like to save the time and expense by rigging it myself. Cody, thanks for posting this question.

If what you need is machinist assist:

You can order what you need from Markertek. Choose the cutouts and panel size you need. They should be able to make accurate punch-outs for your rack.

Markertek Custom Metal
https://www.markertek.com/custom/metal
https://www.markertek.com/custom/panel-builder-app

You'll find IPanel Cad on the above page to draw out your patterns, or click link.

Live chat online with them to assist you.

Or

Call 800-522-2025

Unless you have the proper tools and machinist skills, Markertek would be a place to go.
