Whereas winning the Lottery can get you the best steel in the world, not even Bill Gates money (50+ billion) can make you the best player in the world. And that is really all the matters.

The Lord has blessed me, and don't think I don't thank Him every day of my life. Without winning the lottery or having anywhere near the same galaxy of those kinds of dollars, I play the instruments I would purchase if I had all the money in the world; a 1964 Emmons, a 1970 Sho-Bud Professional, a 1956 Stringmaster, a 1949 Bigsby, and a made-for-me Fessenden.
Now if I had only bought all the real estate I could have gotten at bargain basement prices over the years... sheeesh!!!

I put some more thought into it, assuming Mike's scenario that I won the Lottery.
I've decided I'd open up a steel guitar store, and I'd keep it open until the money ran out.
