Jack Plate

These work real well with rack setups. I got them on my 3/4 space Gator bags, just solder up the 1/4 jacks, the 110 volt socket, I used shrink tubeing to cover the bare connections on the inside ya could even put a 4" fan on one side, lay it out on the side were ya want it, cut a hole to fit the plate, mount the plate close to the bottom and mount it to the side of the gator bag where ya want it, the gator bag under the black cloth covering is made of 1/4 plywood, the bag is cover inside and out with the gator black cloth/gator logo, then all ya do is take your 1/4 cabs cables and 110 plug cord out of the side pouch which has a zipper to open close and your ready to go. I like carry it over my shoulder, then the regular rackbox banging my knees /legs. keep up the good work Erv. ya can use a 6 plug ext. cord with fuse with velco on the bottom inside also, little work nice neat setup.

Great idea!

Erv,

Great idea to use the plate. I have added all of those features to my rack units for years, but always just attached to the wall of the rack. Yours is better.
May I suggest that you consider the switched power source module? It allows everything to be turn on or off at the module.

Best regards.

Bud,
For some reason you can't source these plates already made up.
I had some requests for them so decided to offer them
for sale.
I use a power strip with an on/off switch so that serves the purpose.
Thanks, :D
