I wanted to also recognize the backing band as well especially on the Jaco Pastorius' version of 'The Chicken'.
I'm not sure but I don't think many bands can play that song with the fervor and accuracy that Van Manakas, Larry Eagle and Steve Alcott did when Raphael McGregor didn't play it safe during his incredible set.
Special congrats to Steve Alcott's spot on Jaco bass playing on that song. Bravo to you all!
