I never noticed until I switched back to my older guitar, but the pedals in my new williams are quite stiff. Not impossible to play, but just stiffer...
So I noticed that the crosshafts to which the pedals are connected have an extra little springy thingie that I suppose add an extra umph of tension. I'm wondering if removing them will keep the instrument mechanically sound and leave the pedals a bit easier to activate.
Anybody else have a similar situation? I'll be getting in touch with bill rudolph to ask him about this, but I was just wondering if other folks have gone through something like it.
