Dicky Overbey radio interview by Justin Trevino?

Post by Klas Andersson »

Looking for this all over the webb but can't find it any longer.
Heard it about two years ago as a pod. Believe it was from a local FM-station in Texas.
It was very interesting and lots of old stories from years and years of touring/playing with many great acts that Dicky performed with.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of it?
Please point me in the right direction. :D

''From the west coast city of Bakersfield , came a brand new sound on the pedal steel.
It was a clean clear sound with a funky feel. It was played by Mr. Moon.''

Klas, I had the link but it no longer works. Mine was the one where Justin Trevino did the interview. It was about 2 hours long and it was a great interview. It was done from a radio station somewhere around Brady, Texas. Maybe someone who knows Justin can help you with this.

Contact Tracy Pitcox at KNEL radio in Brady, Texas. He and Justin work together on a lot of things and are partners in Heart of Texas Record Co.

There's a good chance that was on KEQX FM 98.7 from Dublin, Texas. Justin had a weekly radio show on that station. The station has since been sold and is broadcasting as KEQX or KYQX 98.5 FM, Weatherford, Texas.
