Please help - someone who can create a style

Post by John Groover McDuffie »

I can't figure out the style-maker beyond the drums. If someone could program a simple style for me that would be much appreciated.

All I want is "rim shot" on every beat, like a metronome, and block sustained chords on acoustic piano. That's it.

I'm at a loss as to how to program the piano.

Thanks

When I say "block chords" I mean a chord that is struck once on the beat and sustains.

The help file for this application is abysmal!

I'd be pulling my hair out if I had enough to get a good grip on!

Hi John

There is a style called pianohld. It’s a midi style with a metronome snare and held piano chords.

Otherwise you could try using a built in Realstyle and just mute the instruments you don’t want…

In the Style picker go to Filter String (top left) & enter piano held chords & hit return.

Select the style which meets your needs. In my 2018 BIAB brings up 25 but only the top 6 say “Held Piano”

Hope this helps.
