Thank You from the KSGA "Route 66" Steel Show

Post by Douglas Cole »

We had a record show. We've never had this many people show up for one our events. We were at capacity all 3 days of the show. I think the response drifted over to all the players as they all seemed to reach new heights in their playing. For all the scoop and pictures and information, please visit the KSGA group page on Facebook.

If you don't do Facebook, let me know and I'll try to answer any of your questions, or send you information via email, etc.

Doug, great show and we had a good time through out. KSGA crew and staff did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome entertained and well fed. Great food and perfect venue.

I'm glad to have performed with some of the finest pickers around. Many thanks to the KSGA for putting on the show, inviting me to play and to the band members Elijah Chastain, Mike Bowman, Jamie Gumm Malone, Roy Rosetta and Larry Jackson. It was a very memorable set for sure. :)

The Baxter Show.

Post by Bill L. Wilson »

I came up on Friday, heard some great steel guitar, a good band, and good fellowship. And wouldn’t you know it, someone had a Peavey LTD, and a Nashville 400 for sale and I had no money. Just my luck. I still had fun and it was the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen there. And a big Thank You to the ladies in kitchen for feeding the kids I sent in from outside the community center. I had struck up a conversation outside with 5 kids on bicycles who said they were hungry. I told them the food was free and go in and get something to eat, so they did. God Bless You Folks and continued success with the Baxter Show.
