Steel Guitar Jam , Columbus Ohio

Post by Gary Preston »

Thinking of starting Steel Guitar Jams again in the Columbus Ohio area . This won’t have anything to do with the O.S.G.A. Jams we had before . The O.S.G.A . Is dormant at this time . I have a nice place to have them . I plan on talking more with the people to make more arrangements . No charge to get in , I’m planning on the people to sell the food, if they agree . We will take a freewill offering to pay for the utilities. That’s only fair . More about this to come. Your comments are welcome . Please .

Jam

Post by Gary Preston »

Just wondering how many players would come if we have another jam ? How many of you will
Commit to it . It’s embarassing to go to all the effort and very few players show up ! I don’t mind starting it again if I can get commitment.

Jam

Post by Whip Lashaway »

Wow Gary I wish I could but I'm in Tenn now. It's almost 300 miles. It was a real good time when I made it in the past.
I haven't been to a jam or steel show in several years. I'm really not doing any touring anymore. Last gigs I did were in Daytona back in April for the bike rally.
But depending on the date I would try to schedule a trip to see my family up in NW Ohio and see if I can make it. Keep me in the loop.
