Zum SD10 For Sale SOLD, PLEASE CLOSE

Post by Fred Wurtz »

Zumsteel SD10 4X5 for sale, $3450. This instrument belonged to Jack Smith, or so I was assured by the gentleman from whom I bought it. It has some scratches or imperfections on the front apron. Emmons setup. Franklin pedal in the "0" position. Smooth action, great tone, stays in tune and is easily reconfigurable. Carpeted case in very good condition and a rod pouch. Buyer pays shipping from US postal code 14616. Please contact me by phone or text at 585-748-1285 or via email at fredw8@gmail.com or via PM. My internet access is limited to public library business hours, so my responses to PMs and emails may involve delays. Your patience is appreciated.

Nice guitar! This won't last long. Zums are fantastic instruments.

Gary, I think it's just five knee levers, LKL, LKV, LKR, RKL and RKR. I'll have to set it up to check it as soon as I get a chance.

I'm speaking with the first person who contacted me (by phone, as it so happens), so there may be a sale pending.

If Jack Smith owned this, it will be set up right and well taken care of. Jack was one of my all-time favorite steel players. One of the best I have ever heard. RIP Jack!

Wow. Congratulations to the new owner, which would be me if my piggy bank allowed.

Has the deal been consummated? 8) By the way, is this guitar brown, burgundy, merlot or what? I can't tell from the fuzzy pic. Thanks.

Les,
It's burgundy and I'm closing in on a face-to-face transaction with the first respondent to whom I granted a little fund-raising time. I will post the status as soon as it is known. Thanks for your patience.
Fred

Gary,
It has five knee levers.

Thanks to everyone for their patience. I completed a face-to-face transaction with the first respondent this morning and so the instrument is sold.
