82 Emmons PP - Red Lacquer 8x4, - Close it UP! Keeping Her

Post by Robert Crenwelge »

I'm selling my Emmons PP - Near mint restoration. I just can't justify gigging with this guitar nor can I justify starting a collection. It needs to be in a studio or someones else's collection! I'm asking for $6,000 price is firm, I might consider trades for Zum.
Serial number is 6505

Photos of this guitars transformation.

Not bad to start with, however the red had faded a lot and the lacquer had checking.

At the time I didn't know if I wanted a blond finish, go back to original sunburst, or just red. That really depended on how well the cabinet cleaned up. Fortunately when Lynn called he said you can have whatever you want.

I wanted fire engine red, and Lynn delivered!!!!

I’ll be in Sweetwater TX, next week Mon-Wed at Jody Cameron’s Annual Steel Guitar workshop. In case anyone close by wants to sit behind this beautiful looking and sounding guitar.

Robert, if you take it to the Jody event, I'm certain you will find a buyer or trader. Worth every effort made! 😍

Had a great time in Sweetwater TX last week with Jody Cameron, Mickey Adams and everyone that attended. After an overwhelming plea,

"DO NOT SELL THIS GUITAR, YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!

I've decided to keep her.

Close it Up!
