Sending you all of my well wishes and prayers. I'm truly sorry for your loss, Bob. Dealing with the suicide of an old band member right now, myself. Some things are truly unexplainable and saddening.

I'm also in Springfield, MO, and would love to meet up and play or just talk music. If you need/want friends, support, or anything else, we are here for you.

Bob, since the time you posted loosing Barbara, I would say WOW, you have definitely received a truck load of support from your fellow steelers. I have given a lot of thought, loosing your best friend and have concluded, the best way to get through this positively, is, not on how do you handle it, but what would Barbara want for you. Looking at her picture, and her positive expression, I believe she would want the very BEST for you by:
having joy and faith in God
continue to have a love for you music
realize how many friends and family are standing with you
you have had great years and there is many more for you to take hold of
Barbara is in a better place, God is not finished with you yet, Barbara is counting on you to be a winner and finish the race strong

Continuing praying for you,
Neil

So sorry Bob. You and Barbara sure brought us hillbillies in East Texas a lot of great music and knowledge of how to play country music like the pros. She was a sweet lady. I believe what the Bible says and it ain't over yet. The best gig hasn't even started. My prayers to you good friend!
