My understanding is the standard speaker is a reconed pre-1980 JBL K-130. That's what I have with my Stereo Steel. Very nice sound. The cabs weight just over 27 lbs each. He offered other speaker options, but I don't have that info.

I have a SS rig and it has JBL's in the cabinets. I don't remember the series though.
Mine is a gold faced amp I bought used.

Weber put together a dead-ringer copy of the JBL 130-k series for my Webb amp. It is their California 15” with a high power coil which is not standard. Emulates the k series in sound and power handling. The aluminum frame is lighter than the JBL and the speaker weighs in at 12.6 pounds. Big alnico magnet—great sound. You do need to ask for the extra power handling capability.
Williams 700 E9th/B6. 1978 Webb 6-14. Taylor Acoustic, 1973 Ramirez Segovia 1a, Brian Moore iGuitar with synth driver and, my standby for acoustic gigs, a little Roland Acoustic amp.

Here is the Stereo Steel website: http://www.stereosteel.com/index.html
I am currently using a JBL K120 12" in one cab, and an EV SRO 15" in the other.
