Mullen G2 D-10 9x5 Black serial #002 $2600 shipped

Second Mullen G2 produced. Polish package includes polished pedal board, levers and pedals. I bought it from new. It has not been used much ... I’d say 100 hours and been a case guitar for 95% of its life. Gigged just a bit a few years ago.

The guitar suffered water damage in 2012. Clean water and guitar appeared undamaged. I wiped it down as soon as I discovered it (about an hour) and it seemed great. However later the varnish underneath lifted in places. I have pics. It works fine (mechanically sound and works as new) as in you would never know the varnish was damaged as it is underneath the guitar. It looks fine on top. These photos were just taken. The repair cost if this was an issue would entail de-rodding, revarnish and replace rods ... $300 to $400.

On a scale of 10 being mint, I’d list this as 8.5 due to the stated and a slight indentation on the front apron chrome strip. This unit was in the area of $6000 new. Great deal for someone wanting a really nice Mullen at a good price.

Reason for selling: I have several guitars and owned several more over the years. Mullen guitar action is soft. These things are built for speed. It turns out I favour Emmons, Zum and Franklin. The action on these guitars are stiffer. Problem: I can’t use the Mullen for my home practice guitar because I notice quite a difference every week when I’m gigging my Emmons. I can’t play the Mullen out because then I’ve practiced all week with a stiff guitar ... and I just smash the pedals because of the easy action ... so it sits.

Time for a new home.
