C6 TAB Lapsteel I Will - Paul McCartney

Post by Bert Farroach »

Hi lapsteelers, Beatles again!
This one is from their White Album. Paul wrote it, and it's still on his setlist when he's touring.
Some of you probably the Alison Krauss cover.

There are some versions on dobro/steel on YouTube, but I couldn't find a C6-tab, so I had to make it myself.
There's a lot of syncopations in this song, so the tab is a good guide,
but you have to make music out of it! :D

Below is the first part of the tab, my version on YouTube is here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZr6sz3 ... e=youtu.be

And if you like it, just send me a mail and you'll get the complete PDF + mp3backing track!

Best regards,
Bert

Hi Bert,

Oh that is just so very nice.
A wonderful job on this song.
It is much appreciated as always.

Thank you and have a good day....... :)
I have stuff.
I try to make music with it.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn't.
But I keep on trying.

Hello Bert! It was great to get the notification that you have a new song on YouTube. And like you said, "Beatles again". "I Will" sounds great and I can't wait to get started on it. I'm sure I'll be watching this video a hundred times! I'm still working on, "If I Fell" and "End of the World". Like I may have said earlier, I'm still in my first year with the lap steel. I feel a little rushed trying to keep up with the backing tracks (thanks so much again ) but I keep on practicing and know it will come to me. I'm getting there. I never would have guessed there would be so many C6 gems available to me. Thanks so much for sharing your talents!

The video was just amazing! Music like that makes me think about digging out my lap steel and trying to play it again. I've pretty much given it up for the pedal steel.

Great job, Bert!
