Six string pedal steel compact models

Post by Bobby Overfelt »

This is my new line of auto chord guitars. This is a slide guitar but you can also order E9th tuning with two three pedals two raises one lower, the six middle strings of a E9th set of strings fun to play and easy to carry. This is tuned in G7th tuning D G D G B D or some call it Spanish tuning. If you strum open you get all the major chords starting with G chord, if you press A pedal you get all the minor chords, if you press B pedal you get all the dominient 7 th chords, this guitar has patent pending status this guitar is 1 and 3/4 inch deep thanks for looking

Nice, Neat way to do the pedal bar. Can you set these up in E9th tuning with 3 pedals and do the E lowers on the 3rd pedal?

Yes I,m starting a new one and it will be E9th tuning with three pedals two raises and one lower. This guitar is really fun to play and only weights about 15lbs thanks for your interest

These might be of interest to the growing numbers of Hindustani lap steel players in India and Bangladesh.

Bobby, most of these Hindustani players use 6 strings. A few use 8. None of them use pedals. In my opinion, A 6 string pedal steel with one or 2 pedals would allow them to expand what they are already doing, while a 10 string would scare them off.

I understand but maybe American players would like a light 10 string guitar very easy to carry
