Very Rare One Of A Kind Prototype JW Van Electric Guitar

This is a prototype guitar from respected custom guitar builder JW Van. There is only one, and never will be another. It's a beautiful art decco take on the Les Paul recipe. Everything used in this build is top of the line. Chambered neck through mahogany body with a beautiful waterfall Koa top and back, open back Hipshot tuners, Heavy Air Brainstormer pickups from England, highly polished stainless steel frets that allow you to bend like butter, electronics cover on the back is copper sheet. Guitar has a huge powerful sound, and tunes perfectly. I've never seen a guitar tune as smoothly as this guitar in the 45 years I've been playing. Guitar is nice condition, but does show signs of being played. There is one funky detail relative to the strings through the body that can be discussed in detail with anyone serious about the guitar. Doesn't affect tone or playability ion anyway, just looks odd. Asking $1200
