Dave Musgrave / Ray Price show Emmons LeGrande 3

Post by Jack Musgrave »

This was the last guitar that Dave played. it was used on the Ray Price show. Dave told me before he passed away that the was the last guitar that Jack Strayhorn built before leaving the Emmons company. It has a Day setup and is 8x8 You can contact Dave's wife Marcy about this guitar. 417 886 6046. i am just trying to help her out by posting here. Please be courteous and respectful when you call. She is asking 3600

Dave loved this guitar. If money were no object I would start buying up every LeGrande built in the 90's. II's are my favorite but I can make a III work just as well. Whomever ends up with this has something!

This deal makes me wish I needed one. Way under the money in my opinion.

Look at the Picks on the cross bar on the underside. Pretty cool.

Way under priced. This is one of a kind guitar. I have heard this up close and personal at a Ray Price Concert. It was outstanding sound. J.R. Rose

Well Jack Strayhorn, you can't have my 1993 LeGrande. One of the best sounding steels I have ever heard. It is with me till I am gone.
AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.
