Joachim, She was real nice. When the Byrds played on the Grand old Opry, and where totally dissed by the Opry elete, it was said that Skeeter was the only one nice to them. RP

Roger, if you are referring to the guitar solo right after Buddy's ride, I would bet money that is NRBQ guitarist Big Al Anderson. Seems like he always throws in something out of the ordinary on every solo. Great musician and songwriter!

Near the end of Skeeters life, She got married to one of the guys in the band mentioned in this post. Does anyone know who? Was it big Al? She also married previously to Ralph Empty whom, BTW, Skeeter called in her book, "The ugliest man in the world".

Ron, I'm pretty sure it was Joey Spampinato, the bass player. He also co-wrote a song with her on that LP.
