I've seen quite a few people play this on C6 Pedal Steel. Not so much on Lap. I messed around with it quite a few different ways before settling on this. Both on E9 pedal (I don't have a double neck), and on Dobro capo'd at the first fret using open strings as if I was playing out of the key of A...

Anyways I ultimately settled on playing this on lap steel. Mines a strat with a nut extender tuned to B6. No open strings in case I want to transpose. Just wondering if anyone out there plays this on 6 string lap steel with 6th tuning and how they approach it?

Heres my version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI8h2A4 ... e=youtu.be

You are probably not going to hear a lot of Bebop on steel guitar for the dynamics of the attack, but you do it, and it sounds great. Keep it up.
