Malwarebytes not worth the trouble (IMHO)....

Post by DG Whitley »

Well Wiz, I know you like these folks but after 5 years I am going to call it quits. I executed my annual "housecleaning" (wiping my drives and reinstalling only necessary applications). Everything goes off without a hitch, until I get to reinstalling Malwarebytes. I have executed this "cleaning" every year without hiccups until now.

I started out nice, emailed tech support, then decided to try chat. But lo and behold, they closed it over an hour early than their stated hours. With few exceptions, customer service is a joke in this country. Sorry to say I had the "lifetime" edition, so much for that.

Yes, I have had a bad day, and they did not help.

I'll help if I'm able. What exactly is going on? Is this the latest version of Malwarebytes? What is your O.S. and version number/service pack level?
