Not close to a guitar to check this. Off the top of my head. It goes by pretty fast... (GOOD LUCK!) I was an octave off. Move it all up 12 frets.

| I think most of us can find the notes and maybe some of us can pull that riff off pretty fast in our basement. Buddy not only pulls it off in a studio but with effortless ease. It's like when he's playing Four Wheel Drive and the notes are not rushed or strained or even slightly out of time. Just totally relaxed and so clean. |

It's easiest to play and remember if played on the same set of strings as you progress up. The 1st string of the 2nd and 3rd groups of notes are slid into. This is my take on the beginning of I'll Be There. Slow it down on YouTube and you will hear the slides.

 *[head slap]* Well, dog my cats!!! I never knew you could slow down YouTube! Thank you for mentioning the possibility! I found it now.
I've been downloading stuff I want to learn from YouTube and slowing it down to half speed in Media Player Classic, with everything in the same key but at comically low pitch.   |

Greg, with your 12 string tuning you do it all in one position. Saves alot of horizontal mileage!

| Not sure why, but the YouTube slow down does a great job of slowing the notes down without slurring them. Another great tool is to take the audio into reaper and the the RealTune like app to actually list the notes as a piano roll. |
