Jagwire strings!
I had a very lengthy and nice conversation with Danny Hullihan(president of Jagwire) today. Good news! Jagwire strings are still in production.
Jagwire no longer has dealers in the U.S. and is selling direct to consumers. Understandably so.
I've tried every brand of string available for pedal steel and arrived to the conclusion, Jagwire strings seem to work best for me.

Me to. I get more changer throw even on the plain strings. I use stainless so considerably more throw on the wound strings than other brands. Never experienced breakage. Plus they sound good much longer.Jagwire strings are best for me.
I have no vested interest here. Just a happy customer. You guys use what works best for you.

I've been a fan of Jagwire Strings - and Danny - since their first appearance. The service I get is terrific and the strings themselves are as dependable as anything I have ever tried.
It's gratifying to learn that I have yet another thing in common with Tommy White - we have the same number of arms and legs, we both play 'Day' (but to varying standards ) and now we use the same strings!
I'm on the right track!

I can't find anything on the web for Jagwire Strings. Panic attack here... Any news since you have talked to Danny? Pleeze, Pleeze, Pleeze, don't want to go back to rotary phones, and aluminum foil on the rabbit ears....
I want my Jagwire!
