Kinda Don't Care by Justin Moore
I don't know who the steel player was on this recording, but there are some really cool things going on during the last 2 steel solos starting at 3:15 in the video below. I'm having a difficult time figuring out the ascending run in the 2nd solo. If anyone could write a tab for that part for me, I would really appreciate it. I think I have everything else figured out.
The run starts at about 3:47 of this video:

Thanks,

My money says it's Paul Franklin, and that ascending run is one of his patented double-stop runs. Not quite sure exactly how it's played, but it's a goodun. Worth a deep dive into a transcribing app!

For kicks, I slowed this down this afternoon, and this is what I came up with for that ascending lick.
Could be in the neighborhood, could be nowhere close. I can't actually PLAY it, but I did write it down...
I took a stab at it -- go ahead and fix it wherever it's broken!
The 'a2' is a half-pedal of A.

This is actually very close. Great job, Randy! This is in a weird key (C#) so not at points on the fretboard that I regularly visit. This particular run is over the 5 chord, resolving to the 1, so a couple of the entries sound a little off to me, but I will likewise take a hard listen and try to post my modifications. I need me one of them transmogrifyer apps!!!Randy Schneider wrote:For kicks, I slowed this down this afternoon, and this is what I came up with for that ascending lick.

Thanks, Ken.
Prior to 'slowing down,' I will use Audacity's "Vocal Reduction and Isolation" effect to either isolate or remove the center of the stereo image. It helps to remove a lot of noise and distraction, and isolate the instruments you want to hear. Then I slow that result down with the Transcribe software from Seventh String, and just pick out fragments at a time. That process has worked pretty well for me.
