Steve, It is not my intention to hijack your post. I just though it may be an appropriate opportunity to present a question to John. Hope you don't mind.
John, Please check your e-mail. I still need lower return springs, your part number 711. Also tuning key washers, part number 231.
Thanks

Not a problem Michael. I think John is probably real busy making parts. Thought he might have went to St. Loius also. Hope we can both get in touch with him soon. |

Yes John is just absolutely Swamped with Work; which is good, but sometimes his plans to do the email thing at the end of a long days work; doesn't work out.
He'll get to ya....>but whatever the wait is; it is WEEEELLLL worth it; when your dealing with a Genious and Master Tool Maker and he knows the Sho-bud like NO OTHER, so be patient.

I'll jump in for my buddy John here.
Coop had a case of the flu that knocked him down for a couple of days. In addition, he is completely retrofitting all the undercarriage parts for my S/D-12 ProII Custom. I don't think he's done many U-12's; he was scratching his head over how many pulls there were on one neck.
On top of that, I dropped a friend's guitar off with John AND, rumor has it, that John just bought a nice Professional for himself. SO, he's not only making parts as fast as he can, rebuilding one or more guitars at a time, and working A LOT OF HOURS every day, he may even try to take a moment to HAVE A LIFE here and there.
Please be patient. It's worth the wait. John loves the old Sho-Bud guitars like Shot did. Seriously.
