If you don't have the G# lower by splitting the "B" Pedal what could you use to get the same thing. Thanks, Gary |

You can raise the 7th string from F# to G to give you that same note. The G# split does have some really nice moves though. Mike Johnson uses it quite a bit and gets really tasty licks from it.
YMMV

On my old Emmons PP, I had a feel stop. I lowered the 6th string to F# and a feel stop for G. I had it that way on my Franklin when I first got it. Later Paul (Sr) added adjustable stops for the 6th (and 5th) strings so I had adjustable lowers and could do the splits. |

You could have a lever to lower 3 and 6 a half step, maybe a vertical, that’s how I do at the moment but I don’t lower into F#. I think co ped can also be derived around your playing style. _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |

Mike Johnson lowers his 6th to G on LKV, no split. Randy Beavers lowers it just 1/2 on knee lever that also lowers 9 to C#. |

Ricky - I see your RKR lever lowers string 7 along with string 9.
Doesn't that foul up the minor 7 and minor 9 voicings. _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande

Oops! You're right.
I still think it would foul up the minor chords and scales. |
