I love the sound of the steel and the keyboards together, pretty cool setup.

Another good one, 'Mockingbird', great shots of Zachary's Sho-bud.

Zach still doesn’t know how good he is. We better stop all the praise before he gets a big head !

My pleasure Jonathan, The Forum has been a gold mine for me over the years turning me on to bands that I would otherwise never see or hear of.

The other site I really like that does the same is Savingcountrymusic.com

Good music, and a great band name. But suddenly I am craving an RC Cola....
Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

Got to finally see Mike and the Moonpies on Thursday night at Hill Country BBQ in Manhatten. What a great show and such a nice bunch of guys. Total pros and tight as all get out.

Nice to talk with Zach and Omar Oyoque who plays bass for them. but also plays steel and had a nice performance on one song that night. Get out and see these guys if they are in your neck of the woods.

These guys are great ! And sometimes I like to listen to music put out by a real band, not just a vocal artist that hired session players ( Although I enjoy that also).

Craig - Omar Oyoque is from down here, in South Texas.

Looks like he landed a great gig and is in a good position to learn a lot from a seasoned steeler.
Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande

There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

Check out the 25 best Country records of 2018 so far, in Rolling Stone. Looks like people are starting to see what we've all know for a long time. Don't be spooked by the first on the list, but you will be happy when you hit #4

https://www.rollingstone.com/country/li ... wn-w521679

Mike and the Moonpies, Willie Nelson, Josh Hedley, American Aquarium and more.

Lee I posted in another thread in MUSIC about Omar. Yes he is a nice guy and we talked about you. He told me he has a real nice D10 CNW steel, of which he showed me some pix of, Very beautiful
