I'm selling this guitar because I'm now playing in C13 tuning using seven strings. Ryan recently created a seven string guitar for me and this one needs a new home. Asking $450 plus shipping.
Here's how Ryan described the guitar when I purchased it from him:
One-piece alder lapsteel, with Snakewood and stainless steel bridge, and a Wenge, Maple, and Holly fingerboard. The P-90 is wound to mid-11Kohms with 42 gauge wire, and it has a slighty degaussed Alnico 5 and is wax potted....classic P-90 tone with a little extra output/oomph. The nut is Delrin, the tuners Grover's, the pots Alphas, the output jack a Switchcraft in an Electrosocket, and the cavity is fully shielded properly with heavy copper foil. 1 7/8" string spacing at the nut, and 2 1/16" string spacing at the bridge. Finished in satin poly.
