Is that ebony on the bottom? Never seen one like that but have seen pics of the Epiphone Rocco double neck steel before. |

I used to have one of these. A collectible more than anything. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

I have one. The base is rosewood of some variety. I think the idea was you could play the wooden side down for a mellower tone or turn it upside down and play the plated brass side for a brighter sound. Or something like that.
As Mike says, more of a collectible than anything, but cool nonetheless.

Cool--I have a collection of a dozen vintage bars already. Just how collectable are we talking? I paid $10 for it...

I love vintage bars. $10 seems very reasonable for one this interesting. _________________ Excel D10 8&4, Supro 8, Regal resonator, Peavey Powerslide, homemade lap 12(a work in progress) |

"Collectable" in this case means "old and interesting". They have NO value other than what you're willing to pay for one. _________________ No chops, but great tone

Ok.... Then it's worth $10! (Though I might paid $12.50!). I seem to be growing a collection of old bars. _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Have you come up with a cool way to display them? Mine just sit in a drawer.
I would love to find a printers type box but they are very pricey. _________________ Excel D10 8&4, Supro 8, Regal resonator, Peavey Powerslide, homemade lap 12(a work in progress) |

Cool idea, Paul. Maybe a customized nicknack display with those multiple little cubbies? Or glue them to large turtle's shell and let him walk around in your livingroon? Currently mine are somewhere in the kitchen atop an old Rhumba. _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup.
