Geo.L SS-10 and PF-1 pickups for lap steel???

Does anyone use the Geo.L SS-10 or Paul Franklin PF-1 in their lap steels?

I've just ordered a Melbert 6 string with the Multibender and need to pick a Geo.L pickup (Geo.L is the standard option).

I have lap steels with the Geo.L 10-1 and want to try something different. The SS-10 is 19.5 ohms and the Paul Franklin PF-1 is 18.6 ohms.

Tom, I have two 8 string Melberts with a George L's 10-1 in the first one and an SS-10 in the second one. The SS-10 has a slight edge, but I'm probably the only one listening that would notice. I like them both.
