My 7A tried to comitt suicide. Jumped off a stand and hit the concrete floor on it’s head..on/off toggle switch. The switch was totally demolished. I figured it would be a simple fix...replace the mini-toggle. Frankly, I am confused. The switch has 3 connection points and 3 wires: 1 red, 1 red w/white stripe, and 1 white. My question, why does an on/off switch have 3 terminals? It is a single throw (I’m assuming), but with 3 terminals??
If anyone knows the answer I’d appreciate some advice. No help from the builder so far.
Thanks

I opened mine up--3 wires. Red on the inside towards the jack, White on the outside and Red/White in the middle. It appears to be a single pole double throw switch, connecting the red/white wire to either the white wire (turns the unit on) or the red wire (turns the unit off. It's doing it through the circuit board, so I don't know exactly what's going on, but that's what I can see.
Also--it doesn't seem to be actually switching the batteries directly. I measure about 5.5 V switching on either wire with new batteries..
Hope it helps.
