Before I elaborate or you referring to the Peavy Session 500 amp with one 15" speaker? I don't recall a Session 115 .

David. The Session 115 is a new Peavey amp that is supposed to exceed the N112. More watts and a 15 inch speaker. I have not tried one yet. Sill Music has them.

I said exceed not succeed. The amp is designed to be a lightweight larger amp than the N112, but smaller and not as heavy as the N1000.

I've owned and played most Peavy amps since 1972 both tube and SS. To my ears the NV1000 was the worst amp I ever heard for any use. It was loud and clean but with an attack/transient response that would peel paint. Hope the newest amp sounds better than that one.

We understand that. I'm just wondering how much different can it be to a Nashville 400 other than weight. I guess that's what you are wanting to know too. If it sounds like a Nashville 400 I want one. If it sounds like a Nashville 1000 or 2000 I don't want one. Everybody likes something different so opinions should not matter. Hear for yourself.

Do a search of posts about this amp. Bill Ferguson has some samples on the 115 being played live.

It would be nice to see a review from an owner who isnt a dealer. A video with just the steel and no band as well.

Im curious to know how many of these are out there, owned by players, not dealer stock.

Any owners out there want to respond ?

Sorry, I don't have a video but I absolutely love this amp. Lots of power. Love the built in delay (I don't use the chorus).

I tried several (I will not say which one's) and I decided on this one. I am very very pleased with it.

Thanks Gary. I agree that adding delay is a great feature. So many of us want a bit of reverb and delay. It’s great to have both in a throw and go setup.

thanks guys for the posts but the one with the fessy guitar was too loud for the mike on the camera and sounds fuzzy. it`s hard to find sound justification.
guess I`ll just have to wait and maby I`ll get to hear the true sound. personally I think peavey Dropped the ball by not putting A demo of the amp on you tube under pro sound conditions like Evans and the like. it`s a disappointment.

What is the difference of the weight of the Nashville 112 and the Session 115?

Warren are you running two cabinets in stereo? That would be a cool thing to try out and review. I recorded my Walker Stereo Steel review in stereo and noticed that the Peavey has two power amps in the main cab and can route the effects out in stereo if the auxilary cab is hooked up.

I`m not going to run 2 cabnets I am just a local player and play here at home and at the local fire hall on thursdays. gerrard ran bothe cabs and he is keeping the extra cab to use with the little walter he just ordered . he playes alot I am 73 and i have no quams about carrying the amp. right now i`m a little intimidated with the profesional sounds comming from the amp I need a little time to settle down and get it togeather but I will be posting a demo with the amp at my settings on my you tube channel and will let every one know when I do. thanks

we have a bad storm right now so I`m waiting for the weather to clear and my internet to get back up to snuff, plus Gerrard Drury is going to bring up the extention speaker so we can Demo the 2 together. He is still working so it may be next Saturday. I took the amp out to the jam last night and it did just fine NO KNOB twisting all night. I had it set the same as I have it here at home except rolling the lows back about one and a half numbers because of the spot I had it in and that was it.as for the weight Remember the session500 was 40 pounds heavier Just a side note: I have been playing the amp here at home and found out this doesn't need any thing to help it along it stands on it`s own just fine I found out what the Boost is for. when it`s your turn to play that's why there is a switch for the boost that goes on the leg of the guitar . yes there is still a demo coming from me as soon as my buddy gets here with the extention speaker as the weather permits we are supposed to get another storm this weekend.
