I'm hoping to make it down from Lawrenceville, IL for at least the Saturday portion of it! I'm relatively new to lap/pedal steel, but want to come check out some good pickers hopefully!

Roger, I'm sure you will be invited back. I think you are a mainstay there. You are a great picker. We may try to make it this year if something else with health issues doesn't come up. been missing the show.

I too am really looking forward to this show. It has become one of my favorites. The folks with the Southern Illinois Productions have really learned what it takes to organize, and run, a great venue for steel guitar. The crowd loves it, the players love it, and the SIP donates a substantial amount of money at the end of the show to the Shriner's Hospital.
So, it looks like a WIN, WIN, WIN for everyone.

I hope you can make it to the show. You won't regret it.

Thanks to all who have asked if we was going to the show. Due to an upcoming surgery on Jeans back, we didn't feel She could make the trip to Mt. Vernon, so we won't make it. Also, many thanks to Larry Dolan who asked me to share his set with me. Much appreciated Larry..also thanks to Roger Crawford. We will miss not being there. Hopefully next year will be a better year for us. Larry and Jean
