Does anyone know anything about Dewayne. Although he is not a steel picker he is a fantastic Telecaster Picker that all steel pickers love to work with. And a great Vocalist. Have not been able to contact him other wise. Thanks in advance for any help. J.R.

Sorry, I must have had the wrong information. Glad Dewayne is still going and able to perform. A great entertainer.

I was playing Dewayne's CD, "My Favorites & Yours" with Dickey Overby on steel, what a great CD. It is all my "Favorites". Dewayne is such a great talent, Vocal and Telecaster Picker. And a nice Gentleman. J.R.

I don't know the man, but did a little research for you. He played at the Welch Civic Center in Welch Oklahoma, on August 25, 2017 for some sort of fundraiser. Unable to find obituary. If he passed away, it appears to be real recent.

Just heard from another forumite member that he did a gig with Dewayne in October. Said he was not in good health. We will hope for the best and say some prayers for him. J.R.

I assure you D.W. is alive and doing very well. he had a total knee replacement this year and that put him out of commission for a time. he plays a lot in the casinos around Joplin and Oklahoma these days and i know he has a lot of dates booked next year. He uses Scott Henderson on steel and has a great western swing band
