Goodrich Match-Bro with Bar - Perfect Condition

Goodrich Match-Bro "designed by Buddy Emmons" with bar. This unit appears to be in perfect condition. I know dad used these devices, but you can't tell by looking at them. The inside is very clean (no batteries included).

Honestly, I do not know what this box is used for (I am a bass player), but saw a bar in another photo here in the forum and found the small black bar in dad's bag of fingerpicks. The bar appears to be steel covered in black plastic and looks unused.

I have included photos of all sides and the bar. Please ask questions and I will do my best to answer.
