David_Hartley Playing "Abide With Me"

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey All

David & I were to do some recording together, him on steel and me on strat.

David has become ill and unable to do the recording with me, so I have tabbed out a great tune he did, "Abide With Me"

I am offering this one to all those who have commented on my tab and this offer is open only till Monday next.

After that, it will only be available from David Hartley.

Anyone wanting a copy, P.M me your email address.

Here is the link to David playing this one.

David, thank you for posting on YouTube your E9 solos. I wish I knew as many songs as you know and to play them perfectly as you do. Your tone is impressive. Thank you for your music.

John has put on paper a wonderful hymn that David Hartley has played. Both David and John are great examples of sharing their expertise. Great English friends.

David, I hope you are feeling better soon. I have David’s CD and a bunch of his youtube videos loaded on my phone and listen to them all the time. And John is also in some of those videos. I have always liked David’s great playing, he makes the PSG sound so good. Thanks for the tab John.

Many thanks John. You and David have been a very big help and
inspiration for me for a long time. I got a lot of tracks and
tabs from David and many tabs from you and all are fantastic.
Now if I could only play a little bit like David I would be a
great player. David and Mike Johnson are my favorite players.
Many thanks to you and David for helping many of us improve. :D
God bless both of you.
