Yellow Melbert Lap Steel

I swiped this picture from an old post by Bob Allen. She's an early 6 string Allen Melbert, unusually decorated. I bought her years ago, like new (which she still is) from her original purchaser. Way back then, Bob told me that my "Yellow Peril" once had an 8 string sister. I'm just curious whether anyone has seen that one or might know where she is?

The 8-string was manufactured in 2007 and sold to someone in Valencia, CA but it could be anywhere today. -- Bob A.
