Can the pedal height be adjusted?

The end that attaches to the pedal, screws onto the pedal rod and can be adjusted for pedal height.

Hey Russ,
It looks like you have the rods screwed all the way into the connector. You should have at least an inch or so of threads there to play with.
On my 1000 I have a pair of nuts on each one to act as locks to keep them from moving once I have set them.

You can definatly drop those pedals down a ways.
Unhook the rod from the pedal, and rotate the knurled fitting to reveal the threads.
Also, if you have any stiff lowers, a visit to the hardware store for a lighter spring(s) will do the trick.

Thanks for the help! I would have needed a 4X4 taped to my heal to play it the way it came! I have it adjusted nice now.

I tuned it to the lower eight strings from an E9 tuning and it has some standard pulls.

I'm going to have some fun with this one!

I hope you know that an 8 pedal 400 is far from a standard guitar..This is either a factory conversion or it was ordered that way in the begining..

Yes, I know it’s not standard. What I meant was that I’m use to an E9 10 string tuning. This has the split A/B pedals in “Day” setup, pedals 5 and 6 and some other useable pulls. I’ll chart the changes when I get a few minutes. This steel kind of feels like my 47 Chevy when I had it back in 1976! Not the most modern of rides but it got me where I was going.
