Jack, that green D10 on the far right of this ad is the last new Emmons I had before switching to Zum guitars. I sold that guitar to Steve "Alonzo" Walker somewhere around 1976 and he is still playing it today. I think that guitar has held up pretty well considering 40+ years of traveling all over the world and always sounding great.

Great story, Tommy! That rosewood 'mica D-10 on the left may be the one I've played since about '77. Unlikely, since they made about a zillion rosewood 'mica D-10s in that era, but you never know...Tommy Dodd wrote:Jack, that green D10 on the far right of this ad is the last new Emmons I had before switching to Zum guitars.
