Sheltered In The Arms Of God

Post by John A. Russell »

Hey All

Only very recently, I came across this Gospel Song.
I was taken by the melody right away.

I have been experimenting with the tune for a time and finally decided on the one I offer now.

I have had numerous requests for Gospel Tablatures, so I hope that this latest one of mine, will bring pleasure to some of you.

If anyone would like a copy of this tab, P.M. me your email address.

Kind Regards

Dottie Rambo's "Sheltered In The Arms of God"; is one of those songs seemingly penned for the steel. I am excited to receive this tab from John and looking forward to playing it. Thanks John for this classic! George

I replied to your PM on the 29th of September to say that, you didn't leave an email address for me to send the tab to. As soon as you send one, I will attach the tablature.

I'm about a week late in sending this out due to a major cleaning and putting new strings on but I wanted to let John know he's done another great job tabbing Sheltered In The Arms Of God. If you like good ole Gospel music this one will give you Goose Bumps.

I Saw a lot of people talking about John Russell's tab on the forum and when John posted about one of my favorite song I thought I give It a try. The Tab is very well done. I call myself a Steel owner not a player for me it's fun to try to learn this machine. ( I'm a Bass player go figure)I can see where John's tab will take me to new places on the E9 neck I never guessed were there.

Thanks' John for sharing the fruits of your labor

Hey all.
I did post in December 2017, that all my tab is now discontinued and I posted a list of possible songs I would release this month.
I have not had a great responce to any one song so far, but will add some more later.
Kind regards.
