I have yet to see one in person so no, I haven't given it a shot.
As far as for use with a dobro, the red flag went up for me right away when I saw the product characterized as an "advanced digital microphone."
Guitar mounted mics for dobros can often sound good, but they can also bring a bunch of baggage along for the ride, for example having potential as being a "feedback monster." _________________ Mark |

Mark, I irig acoustic stage does have some sort of feedback cancelling, I like the natural acoustic sound from the videos. I might give it a try and report back.

i tried it with my new Appalachian (flamed maple, beard cone, #14 spider, tuned-post construction) and Wechter Scheerhorn "Ickelhorn" (Scheerhorn cone).
Sounded like crap with both. I tried all sorts of additional processing to "fix" the sound but the issue was the raw signal - it sounded like a single piezo through a Twin Reverb with JBL's. Tinny, hollow and like a garbage can lid with strings.
FWIW I like quite a few of their other products, especially electric guitar plugins. For recording purposes some fool just about anybody for realism.
But they just don't have a handle on acoustic processing IMO. I get far better sound just experimenting with the Schertler Basik in my Ickelhorn and running it through a Baggs Venue & Focusrite interface. I wouldn't record that way - but it does work. _________________ No chops, but great tone
