Jody Carver The Hot Club Of America CD or vinyl

Post by Stefan Berger »

I'm looking desperately for the Jody Carver The Hot Club Of America record. Do you have an idea where I can get that record (CD/ Vinyl/mp3)?

I posted a link to a place where you could have bought the release earlier, but it is no longer available via that site.
I only see one listing on Amazon.com for $250 USD. Other auction sites have it for far less. Keep an eye out on eBay as well.

Good luck on your search!

No, he doesn't. That's the same link I removed earlier.

I'm looking for a copy of this too. Vinyl is fairly pricey, so I'd like to find a cd copy. From what I understand it's no longer available directly from Jody. Any other place I could find it? Thanks!

Several years ago (before the re-release of the HCOA CD), Jody sent me copies of the songs on that CD. I"m sure he won't mind me sharing a couple sets. That's all, though, unless I get his permission. I'm not at home right now so in the interim here is a link to a few selections that seem to be off the original vinyl. Enjoy.

I have two of Jody Carver's "Hot Club of America" CDs. One was directly from Jody which has a message to me along with his autograph (front & back).. The other is copy put out by Zippy Records of Japan in 2011.
Anyone interested? I will sell them both.
I thought I might have the LP but I haven't had a chance to check my LP collection.

Sorry. The CD was put out in Japan 2001 , not 2011 by the Zippy CD Company.

Amazon sounds a little ridiculous. Does anyone pay $250.00 for any LP?
If so,- maybe I have some $250.00 LPs in my collection. What are collectors and millionaires looking for? I have thousands of LPs. And hundreds of CDs.

Yes, and add a couple more zeros to that. Some rare rock albums sell for thousands.

You have to realize that some item on Amazon are from their "Marketplace". That is where you and I can sell items through Amazon.

I got mine from Jody back before Pontius was a Pilot, in fact, I think he was only an air cadet at the time!!
