Standel Super Imperial XV Serial # identification

Recently acquired this amp for home use - it's way too big to lug around at my age.
The Model # reads "SI15R" for Super Imperial, 15" speakers, with reverb
The serial # on the back reads "3657-1".
Would anybody know what year this might be? Or, can anyone recommend a contact for vintage Standel info?
Try as I might, I've haven't come up with any consistent pattern description or numerical legend for Standel serial numbers.

I just aquired a 1969 studio 12. The date was written,on the side of the amp chassis.

In 1961 I bought a new Standel Imperial XV piggy back amp from Irby Mandrell when he was sales rep for them. It was covered with white skin from the four legged Wild Naugahyde from Borneo California. I traded it for a new 1963 (pre-CBS) Black Face Fender Super Reverb because I wanted reverb, which gave away in the 1980s. Sure wish I had both of the back.

- Thanks for a potential look see. Haven't pulled the chassis yet. Probably in the next couple weeks. Will post if I find anything.
- I checked the website & couldn't locate any identifier(s) in the Imperial or Super Imperial docs.

- Can't say for sure, but I suspect this amp is mid to late 1960s.
- I feel for ya. 20/20 vision can hurt for a helluva long time.

Wonder if there are any techs still around from the Bob Crooks Standel era?

Gary, I had a 64 Super Reverb and (for 6-string anyway) it was the sweetest sounding amp I ever played, till I played a couple 90's Fender Custom Shop amps which came close to it. It was one of those "Pearly Gates" things. And boy! do I wish I still had it. It resides down the road from me with a guy who won't sell it for less than a kings ransom - I paid $300.00 for it 35 or so yrs ago.

That style is from around 1967 to early '68.I had the single '15 version of the Imperial. Great amp!!!

I have a 1965 Standel Imperial XII - The JBL speakers have a 4-digit code in which the first two numbers are the year, the second two numbers are the week of that year. For example, mine say "6529," meaning 1965, 29th week.

From the knobs, I suspect that the amp is 67 or later. The JBL codes is probably the best guess at dating the amp.
