I'm posting this here because I was told many years ago that it belonged to a guitar. I was cleaning out my bits and pcs box if it's a useful piece, it should be in the hands of somebody who can use it!!!!!!!!
That's a six inch ruler in front of it.
Any ideas?

Wow.
Is it a clamp to hold your bars on your pedal steel leg??? _________________ Stefan

Hello Stefan and thank you so much solving the mystery.
Something very common obviously to all PSGrs, but to this ole lap steeler, it meant nothing. I'll pass it on to one of my PSG buddies.

I was guessing???
Was it a clamp then?
If so don't get rid of it. Get some legs from Mark Roeder for you lap steel and save your back. Plus it improves not only your posture but your playing as well _________________ Stefan

Maybe I'm just thick, but it seems to me if that clamped to a leg, the "troughs" to hold the bars would be vertical. No? |

Stefan, because of the way it looks, I took your statement to be a good guess !!!! I have legs on my Console Grande but it didn't seem to fit in any way. So, maybe it isn't??????????
