What year did Emmons guitars change to all pull instead of PP?

Hey Gene...
My uninformed opinion is that is was a transition period that lasted approximately 10 years, from 78-79 to 88-89.

Thank you Mr. Herbster! I was asked by someone if a 1978 D-10 for sale would be a PP and I didn't know. Your answer indicates it could be either....so I guess they are like puppies and would have to be rolled over on their backs to find out!

The setup was easier, faster, and far more versatile on the all-pull design. I imagine that's why they eventually transitioned.

There were very few Legrandes built in 78.The guitar is most likely a Push Pull.It should have an L in the serial #.Just ask if the pickup side end plate has a cut out.
