Does anyone use a looper pedal with steel guitar? If so, please explain. A year or so ago I got a great deal on a TC Electronic Ditto Looper, but have hardly even taken it out of the box. Just can't imagine any useful application(s). |

I saw a video of Buddy using one, but can't find it. It was really cool. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . They are absolutely, hands-down the greatest little tool for any guitarist. Record a rhythm, end the loop, play along and practice, overdub more parts if you want. It's an amazingly quick way to build creative ideas or create your own rhythm to freestyle or practice over.
Just with pedal steel, it may be trickier to create a nice rhythm loop to play along with, but sure, why not.

Thanks, Brad, for two excellent answers to two separate queries of mine on the same day. |
