Report on the Southeast Texas Steel Guitar Club/Jam/

We met Sunday, 8/06 at the life Church in Katy, TX A modest turnout, but a fantastic jam with those who came. We featured Janet Lynn Wise on her beautiful Mullen G2. Janet was ailing from a "bug", but braved it to come and did a great job. Also, we had Billy Phelps on bass, lead, and some steel. He does it all. Patty Phelps on bass, Larry Schoppe on bass and vocals, Mark Everson on his D12 Emmons pp, fiddle and lead guitar, Ron Toth on his Infinity D10, Bobby Keith on drums, Willie Funderburg on vocals, Doug Elverud on his Sierra D10, rhythm guitar and vocals, and Jim Saunders on rhythm guitar.

I always enjoy coming to the meeting & getting to visit with friends and listen to some good music. I think I have my friend, Willie, addicted to it too!

JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE HARD WORK PUTTING SUNDAY'S JAM ON , I THOUGH IT WAS GREAT ,
JANET WISE DID HER USUAL GOOD PLAYING ,AND SELECTIONS OF SONGS .
THE ATTENDANCE WAS A LITTLE OFF AS THE WEATHER WAS BAD.
