Has anyone seen the BSG axe on eBay? Better question might be WHAT is a BSG? Is anyone familiar with them and are they worth having? It's nice enough looking (if you're into green mica) and seems to be well equipped (3+5) ....

BSG is Don Burrows, a member of this forum and supplier of highly acclaimed custom steel legs among other things - he's building me a set right now. He has no website, as far as I know.

Thx, Jim & Per for the info. Has anyone here ever played one of these guitars or have info on how well they work?

I've had a BSG for over a year now. The tone is second to none. The way the changer is designed makes string breakage a thing of the past. Don takes great pride in his work and makes sure each part fits and works perfectly. Very smoothe action and stays in tune.

I had a chance to check out the Don's guitars up-close at the last steel show I attended, and I can say for a fact that they are the most solidly built guitar I've ever seen. (I have a sort of fetish for things mechanical.) I used to think the old MSA's were "bullet-proof", but the BSG is even beefier!

Donny, Thanks for the kind words. I sure enjoyed talking with you at that jam in Virginia. Thanks for showing me your new Millennium. I always enjoyed hearing you play. Hope to see you soon.
